Here at Formula 4 Detailing, we have developed processes and procedures to guarantee that the ceramic coating adheres properly and performs at its full potential. We begin by hand washing the car with clean wash sponges and pH-neutral soap, prepping the surface by removing any dust and dirt on the paint. Following the wash, our team moves on to the decontamination stage, which involves spraying an iron remover to dissolve loose contaminants on the paint. The final step in prepping the paint includes clay barring the full exterior of the vehicle to further strip away debris. Using machine polishers, we perform a paint correction to remove defects such as scratches, swirls, and marring. Once the paint has been restored to a glossy finish, we apply the ceramic coating to provide that showroom-quality appearance.
